DFEE Thanks Durango Mountain Resort and Bank of Colorado
Thanks to each and every one of you who supported the Durango Foundation for Educational Excellence Ski for Education Day event. DFEE is extremely proud to have worked in partnership with Durango Mountain Resort and Bank of Colorado to offer this annual event to the community and surrounding area for a sixth year in a row. We would also like to acknowledge and thank Four Corners Broadcasting for hosting our live promotion and for providing DFEE with generous airtime. And a big hearty thank you to KSUT, The Point, KSJD and to Clear Channel in Farmington for partnering in promoting our big event as well. Likewise, DFEE sends a big thank you to our ticket sales locations…both City Markets, Albertson’s, Nature’s Oasis and to Three Rivers Eatery and Brew House in Farmington.
The weather was perfect and the skiing conditions at DMR were ideal. Our ticket sales and patron turnout were more than double of what they were last year! We raised $13,300. We are definitely looking forward to next year’s event especially since we will have it on President’s Day once again when so many of you have the day off from work or school and can easily participate in this fun-filled day. The best part about this wonderful event is that the proceeds go right back to supporting educational excellence for our students in the District 9-R!
